Thanks to the lovely commenters, I started thinking about a few things that could be done to make the planning process of JUKEBAUX even better. I began to utilize my interviews and similar product reviews to determine my market, and I thought about the specifics such as design and potential pricing.
As far as my pitch, I honestly didn't change much if anything. I think I paused on a word or two, but hey who's perfect? Talking is literally on my top 3 favorite things, so keep the assignments like this coming Mr. Chris Pryor!
If I could leave you all with any piece of advice it's this: Life is too short to worry about the small stuff. If something has you down, angry, confused, stressed, take a moment to stop everything. You have a purpose, you have a choice, you have a talent. Stay focused on where you want to be, not so much where you might be now. Get out there and Be Great Today. :)
Hey man,
ReplyDeleteYour idea seems very innovative! Convenience is the name of the game nowadays for any type of industry, and it seems that you are utilizing that for your niche with the music/audio industry. Two things that I would suggest to make your elevator pitch a bit better: 1) make your pitch shorter for about 1 minute; remember that the idea to emulate the same amount of time you would have to speak to someone at an elevator. 2) don't focus on the mechanics; you explained how your business idea works, which is great, but an elevator pitch is more about getting your idea out there than explaining it in great detail. That's my two cents that I actually took from Dr. Pryor's feedback from my first elevator pitch, which had those same areas of opportunity to improve. Good luck to you! Hello Anthony. I think the idea you pitched is great. Having a product that seamlessly streams music to different products is a great product and something I would use. I know the hassle of trying to sync up devices all too well. With your delivery, I think you did a great job on that too. You managed to keep talking without tripping over your words too much, something I did.
